We were founded by long-distance runners and outdoor enthusiasts and we are committed to producing a high-quality, low carbon footprint apparel line-up. How do we do it? We manufacture all of our items in the US from US manufactured fabrics and trim. Our staff runners and sponsored athletes personally wear test new products before they are launched. We incorporate your feedback into to our product design process.

We’ve developed innovative polymesh fabrics such as the ultra-lightweight ReadyTech Aries (110 grams per yard) and the unique dual-faced MotionPoly with our trusted performance mill partners. RaceReady was founded in Los Angeles in 1993 by Gerry Hans and Mary Button, accomplished runners who have run well over 20 marathons each. Mary qualified for the Olympic Time Trials in the Women’s Marathon in 1996 and 2000. She participated in the 2000 Trials and has a 20 race record of sub three hour marathons. They led the company for 18 years and leave behind a strong legacy of innovation and product excellence.
In late 2010, RaceReady was acquired by an investor group led by Tim Vadney. Tim has been running since competing in high school cross-country and track in Memphis, TN over 20 years ago. Tim worked previously for Deloitte Consulting and Kibel Green and has experience working with sportswear and sporting equipment companies such as Nike and Callaway Golf in Asia, Europe and the US.
